Omg fun!! I’m so glad you’re well! π€π€. I’m doing pretty well, too! π. Had to take a bit of a break from being online–nothing bad, just a little downtime for self-care, plus the demands of a few projects that I can’t say too much about yet (I’m collaborating with other people, and they prefer I be discreet for now, but I’ll say more as soon as I can π). And then there’s work, which has picked up some, which is good ππΌ. But all is well! π. I’m getting back into WP at least part-time (lol), so I’m not quite fully here yet, but I am more than I had been recently ππ·πΈ. So good to see you!! ππππ
It’s good to recognize when you’re in need of caring for yourself. We should be tender with ourselves. β€ I'm super interested in these secret projects! π I'm happy to know you are well, and being productive, my friend. You're like a sunshine to me. β€
You’re so right! I didn’t realize it for the longest time, and I’m paying for it a little lol π. It’s really cool – I went out for lunch with a friend who remarked how much more relaxed I looked since we’d seen each other last ππΌπ. I guess the self-care stuff is paying off! π. Thank you *so* much for your lovely compliment! You are like sunshine to me too! π€π€πΊπ
I associate this song with the first girl I fell in love with – and I completely blew it so we never actually went anywhere – because she looked a bit like Amy and she was also alternative but in a really carefree way, unlike so many of the alternative kids at my high school who were just trying to provoke. This song and any System Of A Down song, and I’m seventeen again looking into those brown eyes.
I love this song! Hell, I love this *group*. And I love you too! How’ve you been, dearie? πβ€οΈπ

Ugh. Amy Lee is so fucking gorgeous, it’s bananas. Music truly is a time machine, isn’t it?

There was a summer, some years ago for me now, where this was my soundtrack. Oh to be an angst addled teenager again.

Stuart!!! I miss you. I hope you’re well! I like angst ridden music. But I’ll pass on being a teenager again. π β€

I remember the first time I ever heard Evanescence. Not a great time in my life, but her voice took me out of the shit for a while. X

I know this song is sad. And it’s always made me think of my mom. Long before she was gone. Now, it strangely soothes me.
