I wanted to savour your book, to spend time reading it. I didn’t want to just fit it into one of my frantic days, and there have been so many of them lately.

I know your story well, Kindra, because you’re my friend. And you’ve become more than that over the years – I don’t need to explain… The distance though, christ, why are you so far away?
