About Me: I can barely make sentences

So, I’ve been preoccupied with writing my election coverage article for The Bridge magazine; our debut issue is scheduled for January 1! I’ve just decided to take a break from work, perhaps conjure some fiction, or compose a poem. But, fuuuhhh, my brain is incapable of braining at the moment–unable to change trains.

  1. Don’t set yourself restrictions and treat it as you would your normal writing, capabilities will flow then rework/edit…or lie to yourself and say you’d love the rest and relax with a few bottles and eats then words will come to bugger that up…bit like kids lols. Good luck!

  2. Don’t try to catch that train in vain to avoid the pain of feeling you’ve nothing to gain from seemingly limited brain grain for there’s no shame in taking a break from the fast lane of literary fame lest you drive yourself insane!

        1. I feel, John. I feel. Some people don’t understand the frustrations that come along with writing. My husband, for example, believes it is the easiest thing in the world for me. When he sees me struggling, he says, “just calm down and do it.” πŸ˜‘

  3. So if we were neighbors we would be sitting on my couch right now watching Miranda laughing our asses off eating blueberry pie and drinking beer! You would most definitely get over this minor hump…..(yes I said hump…) hahaha! Kick some ass baby youve got it in you! Muah!!

    1. Thank you, Simon for you vote of confidence. I believe my malfunction is this: when I write political pieces, they are satire. I’m writing this one straight, per request of the editor. I prefer satire, only because it keeps me loose. I would not be an awesome journalist, haha!
